Earliest Childhood Memory

My earliest childhood memory is the move from Wyoming to Michigan when I was three years old.

I don't remember the whole drive but I remember a big, old, orange Ford pickup and my baby sister being along for the ride. It was hours and hours of staring at cloth woven seats and radio dials...

My earliest childhood memory has to be my 1st Kindergarten ... I had to have been 5 years old. I very specifically remember my teacher asking me how I was doing and pointing at my food and saying 'I don't like that' ... And my teacher picked up my sandwich and threw it away ... And I cried and cried. I didn't like my applesauce ... Not the turkey sandwich ... That was the best sandwich I'd ever had ... And my teacher dug through the trash but we weren't able to find it.
Firstly - why on earth would my teacher take my sandwich and throw it away if I didn't like it?? And then what .. was I going to eat it out of the trash? Gross.
This must have been severely traumatic if I remember it still to this day!
