This one is hard. Like, really hard. I can't even count the number of times
I have been asked this at work and my answer is always the same: 'I don't know.'
And this is no different...
Let's see here, in 10 years I'll be 43, my husband will be 53 and my kids will be 23, 23, and 21.
What does one do once their kids are 'grown' but they are still tied to a job? I figure you keep doing what you've always done. Get up every morning, go to work (at least by then hopefully I'll have figured out what I want to do with my work self and be settled in nicely), come home, and do home things. I should have more vacation time by then and not have as many doctor and dentist appointments to attend so maybe I'll actually get to go on vacations and have time for things like home d├ęcor, and fishing, and hunting.
My pups will be old and lazy by then so maybe we can lounge by the lake that
I'd love to be living on by then. Oh, or maybe we can lounge on the boat I hope to own by then!
So that's what I want to be doing in 10 years - lounging on a boat.
Where will I be in 10 years?!?!?! Hmmmm... That's a tough one. First I think back to where I was 10 years ago.  I was 23 ... I literally was within a couple weeks of getting married the 1st time around. So that being said ... Did I think I would be where I am now? Re-married and still childless?? Nope. So I am almost thinking that looking 10 years out is silly. But here it goes anyway: So I will be 43 years old in 10 years. My husband will be 45 ... and my step daughter will be 21 (WOW).  I'm hoping to have a couple kids ... So depending on when exactly that happens (hopefully sooner than later) we'll be raising some elementary aged kids. We will hopefully have some shade trees in our yard (which we are working on getting - but trees need time to grow [duh]), Hopefully we'll have a nice patio area. And Hopefully I'll be fit and in shape. These are all hopes. Hopes are easier than 'plans!'
